Purpose
Preparation for Confirmation is a two year program. Level two may be completed either in the eighth or ninth grades of the parish Confirmation Program. Level two of the parish Confirmation program are open to students in the eight grade or higher.

Classes
Students in level two normally meet on the first and second Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 am. Sometimes they have to meet also on the third Saturday. A schedule of classes will be mailed to those registered.

Requirements

It is the students' responsibility to attend all classes, overnight retreat and complete the Community Service Project. If a student misses a class because of illness or another serious reason, it is his/her responsibility to contact the Director of Religious Education as soon as possible. A medical certificate must be presented at the next class day. A complete calendar will be mailed in August to all who register.

Fees
The $120.00 fee covers the cost of materials, overnight retreat, etc. There will be no additional charges. Fees are to be paid before the first class or arrangements for payment are to be made with the Director.

Parents
Parents are invited to take an active role in preparing their son/daughter for Confirmation. You will receive more information about the parents' meetings.

Sponsors
A practicing Catholic over 18 years of age is chosen by the candidate as a guide and mentor during the period of preparation for Confirmation. Date of the sponsor meeting will be communicated in the August mailing.
