Nite Catechism”
“Late
Nite Catechism” is a one-woman play
featuring an outlandish nun who is
guaranteed to have you laughing out loud
in no time. The interactive, Off-Broadway
show is coming to St. Brendan Parish
Center (201 Ulloa Street in San Francisco)
on Saturday, January 26th, 2008 starting
at 6:00pm with appetizers and drinks for

Ministers and Lectors will have a

2:00pm to 4:00pm at the School

Epiphany
School Open House
There
will be an Open House for prospective
families to learn about Epiphany School on
Sunday, January 27th beginning at 2:30pm
in the school cafeteria. Come meet the
teachers, students, administration, and
parents and find out more about the
school’s program. Applications will
be available for the 2008-2009 school
year. Come enjoy refreshments and
participate in a raffle.

Confirmation Classes
Adult
Catholics who have received the sacraments
of Baptism and Eucharist, and regularly
participate in the life and worship of the
Catholic community, but have NOT yet
received the sacrament of Confirmation are
invited to participate in our program of
preparation for Confirmation. The classes
will be held on Thursdays and one
Wednesday evening February 7th, 14th,
21st, 27th and March 6th and 13th from
7:00pm-8:30pm. Those who are interested
are encouraged to pick up the registration
form in the Parish Office.

driver.

Reflections
GOSPEL:
John 1: 29-34
John the Baptist had the great honor of
preparing the way for Jesus. Through
John’s preaching and baptizing, the
people’s hearts were ready for the
coming of the Lamb of God. John had spent
his entire life listening to God’s
word. And when Jesus, the Messiah, finally
came, God helped John to recognize
him.
1.)
Very often we get so busy and noisy that
God’s voice is completely drowned
out. We are not always prepared to
recognize Jesus in our daily lives.
